Bishnu (Raju)- Santa- Prem
We are well equipped professional birders with the latest published materials and books on birds of Nepal. We have been twitching around in Nepal as birders since 1997. Moreover, during the low season we make use of our spare time updating knowledge and skills by making collected data coherent and accessible to those who are interested. And we participate and run awareness programme for nature conservation in rural parts of the country, as well as take part in yearly winter-bird counting programme in the western Nepal.
We are not a big corporate company, but a team of passionate birders and nature lovers, personally accessible to your service as a birding companion. Apart from being your field guide, we reply all your queries personally, before you book the birding trip. You directly communicate with your field guide.
We care for the nature and its environment as much as we care about making your Nepal’s bird watching joyous and lifers come true, both in the tropic and in the Himalayas. You’ll find our price offer a great value for your money as compared to that of the corporate agents. Above all, we strongly support nature conservation and eco-cultural tourism. We went on a birding trip to Nepal, 13-27 April 2017. Prem and Raju Thapa, of Nepal Birding, arranged for us an interesting itinerary, touching the main birding sites of central and eastern Nepal: Shivapuri, Phulchowki and Godavari, Pokhara, Chitwan and Koshi Tappu. They tailored for us a full board birding holiday of our choices. Raju stayed with us during the whole trip. We found him to be an experienced guide, speaking great English, and he is a nice and helpful person. We saw 278 species of birds, 19 of Mammals, 3 of Amphibians and 6 of Reptiles, including many sought-after, rare and localized species.

In March 2014, I went on a birding and photography trip to Nepal visiting birding sites of Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. The trip was expertly organized by Prem, and Bishnu (Raju) was my guide for the entire trip. I had a very enjoyable time and I found Bishnu to be a wonderful guide and very good at bird identification, and also a great company. I am very pleased with the service. Nepal is a very beautiful country that I would like to see more of it. I can absolutely recommend this company and if I decide to go back to Nepal, I would definitely contact Prem and Bishnu again.

Together with a friend, I visited Nepal for a 16-day wildlife photography holiday (with the main emphasis on birds). The entire trip was organised by Prem and led by Raj. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time, observing about 280 species of bird (240 photographed) and 27 species of mammal as well as many reptiles, amphibia and numerous insects. We stayed at 3 locations involving one internal flight and the organisation was very efficient. Raj proved to be an excellent guide and was always in good humour despite our constant demands. I would not hesitate to recommend this team to organise your trip to Nepal.
